Ferdia Foley is a writer, editor, and musician from County Meath, who is currently based in Cork City. His poetry and prose has been published in IcarusAimsir, and The One O’Clock Gun. His journalism has been featured in The Echo and Tn2
From 2023-24, Foley edited ten editions of his own Edinburgh-based journal, The Steady Drip. He was shortlisted for the 2024 AIS Creative Writing Award.  He is currently working on his first novel.
Foley recently completed a dissertation on Irish cultural diplomacy in the 1950s for an MA in History from UCC. He was awarded the Alan McCarthy Prize in Irish History, recognizing the best MA dissertation in Irish history submitted in 2025.
He operates as a proof-reader and editor of fiction, non-fiction, academic dissertations, funding applications, professional artist bios, and more.
