Ferdia Foley is a writer, editor and musician from County Meath, who is currently based in Cork City. His poetry and prose has been published in Icarus, Aimsir, The One O’Clock Gun, and his self-published journal The Steady Drip. He was shortlisted for the AIS Creative Writing Award in 2024. Foley recently completed a dissertation on Irish cultural diplomacy in the 1950s for his MA in History from UCC. He is working on his first novel.
From 2023-24, Foley edited ten editions of his own Edinburgh-based journal, The Steady Drip.
He operates as a freelance proofreader/editor of commercial fiction, non-fiction, academic dissertations, funding applications, professional artist bios, and more.
